Our story

We started by listening.

AMS began in 2018 as a workshop experiment: could a small East African team build a soundbar that measured like the best and sounded like itself? Eight years and thousands of listening hours later, the answer is the 2026 lineup.

We design every driver, crossover and DSP profile in-house. We voice each cabinet by ear and measure against it — and we only ship when both the ears and the instruments agree. No licensed sound profiles, no outsourced tuning.

We stay small on purpose. A team of nine engineers and one audio technician means every product carries the fingerprints of the people who built it — and a direct line when something needs fixing.

How we build

Small batch. High bar.

  1. 01

    Listen first

Every product starts with weeks of reference listening across genres, rooms and volumes — before a single driver is sourced.

  2. 02

    Prototype in-house

Drivers, crossovers and DSP profiles are designed and tuned in our Dar es Salaam workshop, not licensed from a catalog.

  3. 03

    Measure against the ear

We run full anechoic and room-response sweeps on every prototype — but the ear still has veto power.

  4. 04

    Ship in small batches

Production runs stay small on purpose so QA stays personal and revisions ship fast.

The 2026 lineup is out.

Three new bars — a compact 2.1, a 5.1 surround soundbar, and the flagship Atmos home theatre. See them at a dealer, or read the reviews first.
